Buttermilk Belgian Waffles

Introduction

Crispy and tender with healthy wheat germ added. Crispy and tender with healthy wheat germ added.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 cups all purpose baking mix
    4 Tbsp. cultured buttermilk powder
    2 Tbsp. toasted wheat germ
    2 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 cups water

Directions

Mix all dry ingredients together. Stir in water and 2 slightly beaten egg yolks. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold these egg whites into the batter. Bake in a waffle iron until steaming stops. Makes 8 small waffles.
