Healthy Protein Waffles

they'll never know it's not Bisquick! they'll never know it's not Bisquick!
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 cup nonfat cottage cheese
    1 cup egg substitute (Eggbeaters or egg whites)
    1 cup old fashioned oats
    1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Combine all ingredients in blender and mix very well. Consistency should be of regular pancake/waffle batter. Add more eggwhites if it's too thick.

Bake on waffle iron as directed.

Makes 3-6 waffles depending on waffle iron. Waffles will vary between 100-175 calories each and are high in protein.

Top with natural preserves or jelly as an alternative to maple syrup.
