Spark has calories for chicken bones
onion 1 large
celery 2 cup
carrots 2 cups
12 cups of water
I usually use 2 freezer bags of chicken bones I get after I have roasted chicken breast for several weeks
Take out cool and remove all chicken from bones.
Use how ever does not go back into stock! It is my roasted chicken for the week.
Place bones in a 6-8 quart stock pot. add, onion, celery, carrots Mrs. dash (everytime I bake my chicken I save the BONES, when I have several gallon freezer bags full I do this)
12 cups of water is about what it takes to cover the bones.
bring to a boil then lower to a simmer 4 on my stove (ge electric stove top)
Then let cook for abt six hrs strain all ingredient out now I freeze in quart bags. Makes about 10 cups of stock can also freeze in ice cube trays and then pop out and store in freezer bag.
