Crockpot Beef Stew (or oven)

Ingredients

    2 lb. beef stew meat
    1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 c. water
    salt
    pepper
    3 t. sugar
    3 t. instant tapioca
    1 bag baby carrots
    1 c. celery chopped
    1 med. onion chopped
    4 med. potatoes, quartered
    1 c. cabbage, chopped

Directions

In crockpot, mix canned tomatoes, tapioca, salt, pepper, sugar and water. Add remaining ingredients and mix.

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

If cooking in oven, place in roaster and cook at 350 for 3 hours. Or until meat is done and veggies are tender.
