Braised London Broil

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 lbs. London Broil, cut into serving size pieces
    1 cup onion
    6 cloves garlic
    3 cups red wine
    4 cups water
    salt
    pepper

Directions

In a cast iron stock pot brown meat. Remove meat and add onions and garlic. Cook until tender. Add wine. Return meat to the pot and pour in water until the meat is almost covered. Cover the pot. Place in a 350 degree oven. Bake for 4 hours. Check pot now and then and add water as necessary.
