Submitted by: INTEND2LOSE

Introduction

This is a recipe from the back of an El Paso box. Not a goodie for the diet! I'd appreciate ideas on how to make this lower calorie. This is a recipe from the back of an El Paso box. Not a goodie for the diet! I'd appreciate ideas on how to make this lower calorie.

I use 1/2 fat free 1/2 reduced fat cheeses. 1/2 ground chuck 1/2 ground turkey. Low sodium beans. You could use ALL Fat free cheese, and all ground turkey, or chicken rather the beef.
Oh and btw, 1/6 of the orginal recipe is only 440 calories.A whopping 1470 in sodium though, and 19 grams of Fat! - 5/7/10

Thanks Wildflower. I liked some of the recipe - but it was so high in calories the way it was listed that I said never again.
