Veal Stroganoff

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Part 1:
    1-1/2 to 2 lbs veal scallopini, cut into strips
    2 medium onions, diced
    2 Tbsp canola oil

    Part 2:
    2 cubes beef boullion
    1 cup hot water
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 Tbsp tomato paste or catsup
    1 tsp mustard (dry or prepared)

    Part 3:
    2 Tbsp flour
    1/2 cup cold water

    Part 4:
    4-8 oz sour cream

    1 bag (6 servings) egg noodles

Directions

Part 1: Saute meat & onion in oil

Part 2: Mix meat w/ sauce, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes on low, until meat is tender.

Part 3: Mix & pour into pan with meat & sauce, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
(IF SERVING LATER, STOP HERE)

(JUST BEFORE SERVING)
Part 4: Remove from heat and add sour cream (will curdle if cooked/reheated at this point).

Serve over noodles or rice (egg noodles preferred), cooked seperately.
