Chicken Noodle Soup

Introduction

This is soup is tasty and filling! This is soup is tasty and filling!
Number of Servings: 14

Ingredients

    4 cups dry egg noodles
    2 tbsp chicken soup base
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp dried whole thyme
    1/4 tsp celery seeds
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/3 tsp ground ginger
    1 bay leaf
    4 medium carrots
    1/2 cup minced onion
    4 stalks celery diced
    5 cups of diced chicken (precooked)
    12 cups of water

Directions

Combine all ingredients except chicken in a large stockpot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Discard bay leaf. Stir in chicken and simmer 5 additional minutes.

Makes 14 - 1 cup servings.
