Turkey Sandwich with Apricot Dijon Spread

Introduction

A new take on a turkey sammy. (Also try it on cinnamon raisin bread or with swiss cheese) A new take on a turkey sammy. (Also try it on cinnamon raisin bread or with swiss cheese)
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/3 cup sugar free apricot jam
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    1/2 cup light plain cream cheese
    1 teaspoons chopped dried apricots or raisins (optional)
    1 teaspoon slivered almonds (optional)
    2 slices whole wheat bread
    50 grams thinly sliced lean deli turkey

Directions

1. Mix apricot jam and mustard. Mix cream cheese and apricots.

2. Spread jam mixture on one side of bread. Place turkey on bread.

3. Spread cream cheese mixture on other slice of bread. Cut each sandwich diagonally into fourths to make 4 triangular sandwiches.
