Ingredients

3 C of Cream of Wheat (cooked)
    1/2 C Applesauce
4 scoops of Protein powder (I use Syntrax Twisted Cherry flavor, but any protein will substitute just fine)
    2 large eggs
4 pumps (tbl) Sugar Free Torani Syrup- Strawberry flavor (adds flavor and color to souffle)
1/2 TSP Ground cinnamon to sprinkle atop each muffin
4 Medium Sliced strawberries (a few slices on each souffle, or substitue for 2-3 blueberries for each souffle)

Directions

Simple breakfast fruit souffles perfect for on the go!

Prepare 3 cups of unflavored cream of wheat. Cool in fridge to room temperature. Mix in 1/2 cup of applesauce, 4 scoops Syntrax protein powder, and sugar free Torani syrup (Strawberry flavor). Stir with wisk until smooth. Once mixture is cooled, add in 2 eggs and mix well. Use non-stick cooking spray and spray traditional sized muffin pan. Fill each muffin pan to the brim with mixture. Top with 3-4 slices of strawberry or 2-3 blueberries and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 30 minutes on 375 until they are a light golden brown on top and have slightly risen. The souffles will fall while cooling. Store in the fridge and eat plain, or topped with fat free vanilla yogurt for an extra treat (not included in calorie count). Delicious low carb treat!
