2 lbs lean ground beef
1 cup italian bread crumbs
3 garlic cloves (minced) or 1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp Oregano
1 tsp salt/pepper
1 slice of bread (crust removed)
Combine all ingredients except bread in a large bowl.
Remove the crust from the bread and slightly wet the bread. Crumble it into the bowl. Mix all ingredients well. Roll a palm size amount into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 30-45 mins. If you are adding the meatballs to Italian gravy/sauce then bake only for 30 mins and add to sauce for remainder of cooking time.
Serves 8- 2 meatballs each
