Hilachas

Ingredients

    Malher Hilachas Sauce Mix (prepared), 4.58 oz (2 pgks)
    Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 2 lb
    Potato, raw, 2 large (cut in half and then cut in 1/2" slices)
    Potato, raw, 3 medium (cut in 1/2" slices)
    Chayote cooked, (2 large cut in half and then in quarters)

Directions

Cover meat with water and cook meat in pressure cooker for about 1.5 hrs. Cut potatos and Chayote Squash. Cook squash in 8 cups of water for about 20 minutes on medium heat, add potatos and continue cooking. Remove meat from water (reserve water) shred meat with fork in strands. Set aside. Transfer leftover broth to mixing cup or bowl (add extra warm water to measure to 4 cups if necessary) add 2 package of Malher Hilachas sauce mix. Add mixture to squash and potatos and stir, add shredded meat, continue to cook on low/med heat until potatos and squash are cooked but still firm. Serve with corn tortillas.
