Ingredients

    1 pound beef chuck cut into cubes
    .75 cup rice (uncooked)
    1/4 cup onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 TSP sage,
    salt and pepper to taste.

Directions

In a heavy sauce pan place beef, onion and garlic in about 5 cups water, bring to a boil and cook about an hour. Add rice, cook until meat is tender and rice is done.
Makes 4-6 servings
