Juicy Turkey Burger

Submitted by: JAMESZ

Introduction

This juicy burger is a combination of Chef Meg's turkey burger cooking method, Webers Real Grilling, and some additions by me. I didn't think it would stay together on a barbeque grill but it works just fine in the skillet. Ingredients

1 ½ Lbs. Lean ground turkey (Package size Costco sells)
    ¼ Cup Panco breadcrumbs
    ½ Cup Red onions (Chopped)
    2 TBS Basel (Finely Chopped)
    2 TBS Lime juice (Fresh)
    1 TBS Soy sauce (Light)
    2 TS Garlic (Minced)
    ¼ TS Chile powder
    ¼ TS Kosher Salt
    ¼ TS Black pepper (Ground)
    ¼ Cup Ranch dressing (Light)

Directions

Mix all ingredients until smooth. Divide the mixture into 6 balls. Flatten into patties and cover the outside with additional Panco breadcrumbs. Refrigerate until ready to cook. Spray Pam on a non-stick skillet and heat to medium low. Cook the burgers on medium heat for 8-9 minutes on each side. (It took that long to get to 168 degrees in Colorado). Makes 6 - 4 ounce burgers.
Serve on toasted Oroweat Multi-Grain Sandwich Thins with any healthy condiments you would put on a burger.
