  • Wonderful recipe! A perfect way to use all the fresh, beautiful rhubarb that's out right now. - 5/19/12

  • I doubled your ingredients except added 2 cups strawberries instead of 2nd 2cup of rhubarb ... since we grow both of these, I freeze the rubarb and strawberries in two cup pack and we enjoy this cake year round. - 4/13/11

  • I will rate this later, and I had buttermilk - needing to be used up; we have not tasted it yet but it made a lovely, aromatic cake. It was the requested dessert of the evening, so thank you, Rose! I also used rhubarb sauce in the place of applesauce - just for my own convenience! - 6/27/09

  • It was delicious, though my kids wouldn't eat it with "green stuff" in it. Silly kids! I only had to bake mine for 32 minutes... good thing I checked it early! - 6/5/08

  • This was a perfect blend of sweet & tart. I made it with Splenda brown sugar & whole wheat pastry flour. Yummy!
PS: I've made it at least 5 times. It's one of my familily's favorites. - 4/27/08
