Fried Potatoes

Introduction

Simple fried potatoes that are easy and filling. Add onions and peppers to give it a little more at a big dinner table. Simple fried potatoes that are easy and filling. Add onions and peppers to give it a little more at a big dinner table.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 large potato or 2 small potatoes
    1 1/2 cups water
    a dash of salt
    a dash of pepper
    1 TBS I can't believe its not butter.

Directions

~Peel and cut potato into medium thick slices.
~Place water in the pan and add potatoes, salt, and pepper.
~ Cook until potatoes are slightly giving when poked with a fork.
~Drain water from potatoes.
~melt butter in a heated skillet
~ add potatoes and fry until cooked through

*I like my potatoes a little crispy so I usually wait until they are a little crispy from the butter on the outside. If you like a little more salt add salt and pepper again while frying.
