Homemade Whole Wheat Tortillas

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 c warm water
    2.5 c white flour
    .5 c wheat flour
    .25 c canola oil
    1 tsp salt
    .25 tsp baking powder

Directions

mix all ingredients in a mixer until it's smooth. form a ball, cover and let sit for 10 minutes. cut ball in half, and cut each half into 5 slices. form into balls, cover and let sit for 10 minutes. Then, roll out each ball into a tortilla shape, as thin as desired. Heat a griddle and cook each one. They are ready to flip when some bubbles form and lightly browned.
