Paula Deen's Broiled Parmesan Tomatoes *Tweaked

Submitted by: EMMB87

Introduction

I was looking for a new veggie side dish for dinner one night and saw Paula making this on TV. I entered her original recipe and it didn't seem too bad. I decided to modify the recipe to see if I could lower the calories and fat and still keep the taste...it worked! You could also add a couple garlic cloves and some fresh basil before serving to make it more of an Italian tasting side dish. *2 garlic cloves (optional)
    *Fresh Basil (optional)

Directions

Place the drained tomatoes (and garlic - optional) in a 13 by 9-inch casserole dish. Spray with Butter Spray or Pam. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
