Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 can (10.75 oz)
*No Yolk Broad Noodles, 8 oz
Egg Noodles, enriched, 8 oz bag
Beef, round steak, 1.5 lb (Stew Meat - already cut up)
*Flour, white, .25 cup
Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Mushrooms, fresh, 1 cup, pieces or slices
*Extra Light Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
Add stew meat and desired seasoning. (I use Mrs. Dash varieties). Brown meat.
In a separate pot add a couple quarts of water and boil the noodles acording to package instructions.
Once the meat is browned, add in the Cream of Mushroom soup and warm it.
Mix the 1 cup of cold water with the 1/4 cup of flour.. pour into pan mixture to create a gravy. Stir frequently.
Add the mushrooms.
Cook until the gravy thickens up.
When noodles are done, drain the water out.
Spoon the gravy/stew meat mix over the noodles and serve.
