Adding basil to fresh tomatoes gives it a great flavor.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 medium whole (2-3/5" dia), diced or sliced - about 2 cups
    Basil, Dried, 1 tsp
    chopped garlic, 1 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1/8 tsp
    Salt, 1/6 tsp

Directions

Mix all ingredients and let sit at room temperature for an hour.

Serve plain or on a leaf of lettuce.

Makes 4 - 1/2 cup servings
