Susan's Fast & Fresh Marinara Sauce

Ingredients

    2 T. Olive Oil
    4 cloves garlic minced
    1 teaspoon chicken bouilion granules
    1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
    1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
    1/2 cup fresh basil leaves chopped and divided
    2 T. fresh marjoram leaves

Directions

In a cold, deep skillet or Dutch oven place garlic and olive oil. Begin heating pan to medium heat and saute garlic until it just begins to turn light brown. Add chicken bouilion granules and stir. Add both cans of tomatoes and season with black pepper (and salt it needed). Cook over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add half of the fresh basil leaves and all of the fresh marjoram. Remove from heat and serve with the pasta of your choice. Use second half of basil leaves for garnish. Makes 4 servings approx. 1 1/2 cups each.
