Introduction

We found great dehydrated vegetables in the bulk section! Here's a quick recipe we made with them and it was FABULOUS! Ingredients

    PC Memories of Kobe frozen meatballs (12)
    4 tsp oxo beef bouillon
    half cup dry Lipton French Onion soup mix
    3/4 cup frozen green and/or yellow beans, broken in half
    about 1 cup uncooked barley
    2 cups (4 servings) of dry, dehydrated vegetables from the bulk section of your grocery store.
    2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
    pepper to taste

Directions

Add all ingredients (except beans and spinach) to 8 cups water in large stock pot. Cover and cook on med-high for half an hour. Add beans and stir. Cook for another half hour. Add chopped spinach and more water until it is just the right taste: not too salty, but flavourful. We added about 6 more cups, and a few dashes of pepper to taste. Cook until spinach is cooked and serve. Very flavourful! There will be enough for leftovers tomorrow!
