Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), .5 cup
Artichokes, fresh, 2 artichoke, medium
Kraft Mayo Fat Free Mayonnaise Salad Dressing, 3 tbsp
Lemon Juice, 1 fl oz
Fresh Chives, 1 tsp chopped
Garlic, 1 tsp
Thyme, fresh, 1 tsp
Dill weed, dried, 1 tsp
Salt, .5 tsp
Combine seasonings while you wait. Use only as much as you want to flavor your hummus, you probably won't need it all.
Scrape flesh from leaves, remove hearts from choke, discard choke.
In food processor, combine artichoke flesh and hearts, chickpeas, mayo, lemon juice, and seasonings. Pulse to desired consistency. Serve with crackers or toast, or eat alone.
