St. Pauls Rice

Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    1 lb ground pork sausage
    1 cup green bell pepper, choopped
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    2 packets dry Lipton extra noodle soup
    1/2 cup white rice
    1/2 cup sliced almonds
    4.5 cup water

Directions

Brown and toss sausage meat lighty and drain. Add chopped pepper, onion, and celery, and cook until tender. Add soup mix, rice, and water and cook 7 minutes on top of stove. Pour into baking dish, sprinkle almonds over top, cover with foil and bake. Bake at 350 degrees until dry. Approximately 45-60 miutes.

Makes 12 servings of approximately 1 cup each.
