1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
3 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt (optional)
2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 16x10 jelly roll pan with non-stick baking spray. Spread batter evenly into pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until top is light brown. Cool completely and cut into small squares.
