Dr Byrd Cake

Introduction

This cake has never failed to awe people when I take this to events. This cake has never failed to awe people when I take this to events.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3 c. sifted flour (can use whole wheat flour)
    2 c. sugar (or equivelent substitute)
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon

    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. veg. oil
    8 oz crushed pineapple (in it's own juice) *use juice too
    2 c. bananas
    1 c. chopped walnuts (or pecans)

Directions

Preheat oven to 325

Sift all dry ingredients together.
Add oil, eggs, vanilla and pineapple. Stir well.
Add bananas and nust. Stir.
Pour into bundt pan and bake for 1 hr and 20 mins. (or until knife comes out clean)
