This is a grandchild favourite. It multiples easily for as many as turn up for dinner and since each person assembles their own, it is all to taste. A bit messy at times, but casual and lots of fun. Ingredients

    Hamburg (lean will reduce calories, but I calculated with regular)
    Tomatoes, chopped
    Onions, chopped
    Salsa, (option of mild or hot for differing tastes)
    Cheddar cheese (preferably Old or Very Old), grated
    Corn Tortillas
    Optional: Sour cream

Directions

Multiply recipe by as many tacs as you need.
Cook hamburg with half the onions.
Season to taste. You can buy pre-mixed seasoning. I like worchestershire sauce, cracked pepper, garlic and powdered mustard.
Grate cheese; chop onion, tomato and lettuce while hamburg cooks
Warm tortillas in oven.
Serve with salsa (and sour cream if desired).
Let individuals assemble their own from lazy susan on the table.
