    1 lb Shrimp (80/100 head on)
    1 pack Sinigang Mix
    1 big Onion (diced)
    3 big tomatoes (quartered)
    1 bundle Sitaw (String Beans)
    1 bundle Kangkong (cut into 2″ long) [Watercress]
    5 pieces long green pepper
    8 cups water
    Patis (fish sauce)

    2 pieces Radish (sliced) - my family is not very fond of radishes so I usually leave it out. However, it is included in the traditional recipe.

    1 lb = 16 oz
    1 kg = 2.2 lbs
    1 Serving = 1 Cup


Boil water, sinigang mix, onions, and tomatoes in a pot. Set to Low heat/fire and add in shrimp, Kangkong, Sitaw and green long pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt or patis. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Serves 3-5.
