I was looking for a banana bread recipe that would fit into my Weight Watchers diet. I couldn't afford the yummy, calorie filled regular stuff so I searched for recipes that would work. I got the base for this one from RecipeZaar, but tweaked it to make it even healthier and more flavorful!

Low Calorie Banana Bread
Chunky Applesauce is substituted for the oil, and no-calorie sweetener for the sugar, this Banana Bread really satisfies. When bananas become overripe, I freeze them (3 med equal 1 cup) for banana bread. The loaf will come out a little flatter than what you may be used to, but it's moist and flavorful. Low Calorie Zucchini Bread Muffins
These are a great tasting low calorie snack.These muffins are not only low in calories but they are low in sugar with 3.1 grams of sugar in eachone.
If you would rather use 1 Cup Of splenda and 1 cup of Sugar the calories per muffin end up being 213.

Low Calorie Whole Wheat Bread
Substituting applesauce for butter or oil makes this bread extremely low calorie and very tasty. I make rolls out of this as well and they're always a hit! You can substitute sugar for honey. My original recipe called for milk powder, but I have substituted the coconut milk powder so it can be used by the lactose intolerant.Submitted by: HEALTHYBEC11
