Mix Fruit Smoothies
I love this recipe. I added spinach because I'm not much of a salad eater and it's a sneaky little way to get an extra serving of my veggies for the day. Believe it or not... you can't taste the spinach or even tell it's in there. I make a large batch all at once and save some in the fridge. Healthy Fruit Smoothies with Avacado and Flax Seed
My kids love these, and so does my husband! I have served them for breakfast alongside scambled eggs (the kids energy lasts way longer on this meal than on cereal). I have even served these with supper (we've done burgers with "shakes" (really smoothies). I pour the leftovers into dixie cups and put a small piece of foil on top and then pop a popsicle stick into them and freeze for healthy popsicles! (No High Fructose Corn syrup...Yay!).
