I made this as a 'mistake' when I ran out of Alfredo sauce and had to get another 'cream base' together. I don't like using canned soups unless low in sodium, so this was a perfect alternative. Lasagna-style casserole (two pans worth) with texturized vegetable protein for that hidden secret healthfulness! A litte spicy, tart, hearty like grandma made, but without the frying step.
