Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins
A tasty muffin, decently low in calories without using artificial alternatives. Adding oats, applesauce and egg white in the batter makes it lower in calories. It still tastes like a "normal" muffin, you can't tell it's healthier, which is a plus in my book!Submitted by: MOMMYMEMOMMY

Gluten Free, Oatmeal, Applesauce, Flaxseed Muffins
This is a gluten free adaptation to JOJOMKE's fabulous Applesauce Oatmeal Muffin Spark Recipe. Kudos to JOJOMKE for the original recipe! You can substitute 1/2 C pumpkin for the applesauce. For a more moist muffin, use only 1 Tablespoon of flaxseed. Muffins keep best if stored in the freezer and taken out as needed. Submitted by: ELIZABETHV3

Modified Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins
This is very similar to the applesauce oatmeal muffins recipe I found here, but I used 2 % milk, 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, and I added 1 tsp of vanilla. I also mixed the cinnamon and sugar in with the recipe instead of sprinkling on top of the muffins.Submitted by: MOMSISLAND

Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins II
This is a variation of "Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins" submitted by SparkPeople user JOJOMKE. I used Splenda Brown Sugar Blend instead of brown sugar, egg white substitute instead of fresh egg white. Also added an additional teaspoon of Ideal No Calorie Sweetener to the dry ingredients. Baked mine for 15 minutes and they came out great!Submitted by: REDVANILLA

Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins III
"Applesauce Oatmeal Muffins II" seems to have not calculated correctly and I cannot delete. This still seems "off" from the original submitted by SparkPeople user JOJOMKE. Those were 93 cals per muffin, and that's using full sugars, not Splenda Blend and Ideal. But this seems to be more accurate at 112 cals, rather than 163!
