Tasty Beef Strips for Two
I tweaked this from a diabetic cook book I have and it's great, other than it being a total sodium bomb! Use low or no sodium broth and tomatoes with chilis if you can to lower the number. I didn't have either on hand and so the nutrients values are based on what I actually used rather than what I would have preferred to have used. There is a lot of sauce so it's great served over a whole grain pasta or brown rice with a big green salad on the side!Submitted by: CHRISTYFG

Diabetic Beef Strips in Tomato Basil Sauce
This is a Diabetic recipe.
It's kind of bland and for some reason I think it would taste better with chicken.
This recipe uses cooking spray which is NOT listed in the Spark Data base.
Can be served with whole wheat cooked spaghetti or any kind of pasta which is NOT included in the nutrition information.
The picture makes it look kind of gross but overall, it's not too bad.Submitted by: RD03875
