Stale Marshmallow Fondant
I made this originally to use up a half bag of very stale marshmallows (we're talking mini rocks here) that I had and to make a mouldable decorating medium for my grandmother's birthday cake. A few surprises along the way (i.e. marshmallows carmelizing in the microwave, not melting) worked themselves out with a few extra additions, and I even played up the flavour a bit with some English Toffee flavouring extract! Shaped and allowed to dry at room temperature overnight, you can have delicious, gorgeous flowers, bees or anything you want!Submitted by: JO_JO_BA
