Cranberry Apple Stuffing

Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving without my homemade stuffing. If you are in a bind for time you can use Stove Top, skip the seasonings, just cook the vegetables and add to stuffing, but we prefer the real thing. Submitted by: WDJOSEPH

Amazing Ezekiel Bread Stuffing
Amazing Ezekiel Bread Stuffing

This is my own version of this stuffing. It is absolutely tasty AND healthy! Ezekiel Bread is a dense, chewy, flour-less bread made with a variety of whole grains that are minimally processed to keep them as close as possible to what nature intended them to be. You can find it in the frozen section of healthy food grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Wild Oats or Trader Joe's. I had to guesstimate how many tbsp 10 shallots (baby onions) would be, so the calorie content may be slightly off because of that! You can also sub any loaf of whole grain bread for the Ezekiel Bread if you can't find it and vegetable broth instead of chicken if you want to keep this vegan, but it will change the calorie content of the recipe as posted. Recipe nutritional info as posted uses plain Ezekiel Bread and chicken broth.Submitted by: BETHPROVERBS31

This is a modified version of my grandfather's meat stuffing recipe. Normally he would use ground beef and ground pork but I've substituted the beef for ground turkey and I'm using the leaner cut of Pork Tenderloin. Andi's Jalapeno Cranberry Pecan Bread Stuffing

This is my own recipe based off the basic Joy of Cooking recipe- but with my own twist. Usually when I make something a first time it needs to be tweaked but this is devine. The eggs are optional - but i suggest adding them esp if you're not going to be stuffing a bird with this.

Homemade whole grain bread stuffing

Stove Top mix is no longer in my pantry. Making stuffing, from scratch isn't that hard to do at all!
Each serving is based on 1/2 cup serving. I don't eat a large mound of this, to watch calories.

NOTE: You can also make this dish in a crockpot, if you have the time.
