I'm doing some of it wrong. Thanks for the tips.
Totally makes sense!
Jeepers, I am doing it ALL wrong!!! Thanks for the info -- I learned so much!
Thanks for the cheese storage tip. I don't have parchment paper at the moment. I wonder if wax paper will do...
I am going to put my asparagus in water right now! (Now that I know this it seems so logical; this is exactly how it's sold in the store!) Great tip about storing cheese, too. Thanks!
Love the tips on storing asparagus and the cheese. Parchment paper -- who knew! Imam continually amazed by all of the information on the spark people website.
All your tips were great! ONE idea is so cost saving for us on a budget!!
Loved the tips Chef Meg! So organized and such healthy choices right at your fingertips! Thanks!
I loved the comment about using parchment paper with cheese ,I've always put it in plastic 'but now I know why it went moldy.Never again thanks!!
I loved all her suggestions, especially keeping asparagus and herbs in a bit of water and covering with a plastic bag. I also liked her tip about wrapping cheese in parchment paper, I never thought about cheese being in plastic being bad for me.
Time to buy parchment paper - I am a mouse at heart!
I luv this video.tbc
LOVE THESE VIDEOS LEARNED SOMETHING NEW ABOUT CHEESE
Wish I had a Massive fridge like that!
Good tips. I've recently been reading about the bad effect plastics have on our system and one of the things mentioned is not keeping cheese in plastic (use parchment, baking paper or greaseproof paper). Cheeses (especially the fattier ones) react with the plastic and absorb the chemicals from it.
REALLY great view of Meg's Fridge! I try to keep it simular! I liked she has salad ready to go, in a container! Thanks Meg, your a big help! I LOVE your cookbook!
love these ideas
I thought the tip about keeping aspargus fresh and wrapping cheese in parchment paper was very helpful to me. We're always learning.
My husband loves fresh asparagus, I will try that trick, water in the glass in the back of the fridge. Spinach isn't well liked in my house hold, but I use it in a salad 3x a week with sun dried strawberries and sliced almonds. I put a little strawberry vinaigrette on top and have a nice lunch.
I am working on getting my parents' fridge to stay organized. What a help, thanks! Now if I can just get them to follow suit. LOL! :)
Wow! My asparagus will be stored in water from now on!
Thank you for the wonderful tips. I can't believe how many things I have been doing wrong!
thanks for the wonderful tips........Cheers!
Thanks for the great tips, especially keeping milk to the back...mine no longer is front and center. Also, the condiment center I did get right. Ha! Fruit and veggies are eaten heavily from my fridg, thanks for the tips. Our family goal, keep on eating healthy, Grandloves and all;)
I agree with the others, I love the fridge. Would REALLY like to know what make it is.
Didn't know about not wrapping the cheese in plastic. Learn something new every day! Thanks!
I'm in the market for a new fridge and want to know more about yours! Thanks for the video. Tips are great!
The tips on taking care of your food was very enlightening
I too love the ideas. My fridge is horrible! Plan to work on it tomorrow! Didn't like buying fresh herbs because I always had trouble keeping them fresh and usable. Now, I may try again! Thanks!
REQUEST = please Meg, help me makeover my pantry...I want to know what healthy canned and dry goods to keep on hand for cooking easy healthy meals.
Ok - this may be a weird question... What kind of refrigerator is that? I love the way it's set up and I'd love to keep it in mind for when I invest in a new one for my healthy kitchen!
Your tip about using parchement paper for the cheese is genius! I've always struggeled with either wet cheese (from being in the plastic) or dried out cheese (from not being covered at all to avoid the wet cheese). I've also always wondered what to use the parchement paper for. Thank you so much.
I am just starting out with this program, there so much I learned from watching this video. Thank you
Thank you for the cheese tip!!
I've just reorganized my fridge and now there's so much more room-- I barely took any out! As soon as I watched the part on how to store herbs, I did what it told me. Hopefully this will keep my veggies fresh longer. That's a major issue for me.
I will try with cilantro, I love to keep a good amount handy
I just tried the trick for keep asparagus fresh, and it worked wonders! SUPER crisp and fresh way longer than I would have expected :)
