Try this satisfying and sweet dessert!
A sure family favorite! Make it the night before and pop into the oven when you wake up.
This pie will knock your socks off! I make it without pie crusts to save LOTS of calories! Recipe makes two pies, eight slices each. A nice Christmas alternative to yet another pumpkin pie! Better texture than pumpkin, and you only need three sweet potatoes for two pies!Submitted by GLOBALJUJU
I came up with this recipe one night when I had only a few ingredients in the fridge and needed to find a way to make them into a meal. These surprised me with how delicious they are. Submitted by BLUESUNSHINEFL
A hearty meal with a dash of Christmas colors. This recipe is for 6-7 lbs of chili - helpful when an army decends upon your kitchen OR it freezes real well - can be better 2nd time around (or 3rd)! -NOTE- It is sometimes difficult to find canned whole tomatoes of the unsalted variety, tomato sauce yes, whole tomatoes not so much. You can sub a 14 oz, can of diced tomatoes for a 28 oz, can of whole. They seem to be easier to find unsalted at times. Just add diced tomatoes at the same time as green chiles. Submitted by HAZZLAR
Pizza is one of my favorite foods, and the sweet sauce at Papa John's is my all-time favorite. My viewpoint is, if you're going to make it at home, don't make it "just as good," make it better! So I'm remaking a medium Papa John's pie with pineapple, onion and bacon(BACON!!!). Fresh homemade sauce and premium ingredients make this recipe more than worth the calories, and still trimmer than the fast food original!Submitted by KRAMTHEGRAM
This is actually my mother's recipe, so of course it is tangy, tasty, nutritious, and easy to prepare. You may need to adjust the amount of ingredients slightly, depending on how many family members you are preparing for and your own personal preferences. This meal serves 4 people.Submitted by KORIGADAMS
These moist pancakes are lightly spiced for the palate of my young child. If you like a bit more pizzazz, you can increase the spices or add others. Cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice both work nicely here.Submitted by AASLP___
This is from another SP Recipe, but I've changed it around a bit to lower the fat/calories/sodium. If you're watching your sodium though it's still on the high side. Submitted by STEPH2003
