I found this while looking through some of my mother's really, REALLY old cookbooks. It looked interesting so I thought I'd put the info in here and see what came up before I made it. I don't think the nutritional info is too bad to be a Spark recipe. I'll substitute 1/2 cup of Splenda brown sugar blend for 1 cup of dark brown sugar and I'm using Smart Balance unsalted butter blend for real butter. The original recipe suggests using a vanilla glaze but I think I'll skip that!Submitted by LADYPHOENIX61

entered not because it is unusual although hopefully it is very tasty, but so that I can track sodium (used what I had but attempted to drop sodium) as well as increase fiber (barley both adds fiber and thickens without tomato paste) and to share with my family who use sparkpeople; chili purists of course will scoff, but I look for healthy tasty options so here's one.Submitted by CFMOSS
Yummy! Most everything is from cans, so this is a quick and easy week-night supper. Add cheese or extra onions, or light sour cream for your own personal touches. Sometimes we have it over rice, just remember to count the nutritional values for all the extras!Submitted by REDHEIDIBOE
