I too believe this is good advice but I would change the title to something else. For me the bigger issue is that I just finished watching another related video about the importance of tracking your food and counting calories. This video has a statement printed on the page saying watch this video to find out how you can loose weight without counting calories. Mixed messages for sure. Don't get me wrong...I love SP but these videos lean more towards a SP marketing strategy than solid and useful information for existing members.

If you drink a lot of sodas, or "loaded" coffee drinks, you may be drinking hundreds of calories a day. I don't have excess calories to trim there. I drink mostly water. I do add half and half or milk to my coffee, but even at several cups of coffee in a day, it's less than 100 calories. I rarely drink juice or milk. I do way more fitness than 10 minutes walking/day and track my food so I stay in my calorie range, and I cannot lose 1 lb/week. It comes off much more slowly. So I agree with others who have commented that the title is misleading. Still, for a lot of Americans, replacing most of their drinks with water and walking an extra 10 minutes/day, would make a big difference for them. It just goes to show what poor habits are prevalent in the US.

i like this video this did help me because that was my major problem, i drank pop all day and now that i'm drinking all water except supper when i drink 8 oz of pepsi, and the 10 min walking if your someone who does nothing or are able to do anything and you can manage this 10 min, it defiantly does help however like everyone said once you get passed that point you need to do more

Glad to see I wasn't the ONLY one to take issue with the title!! You have to do a lot more than just that unless you drank all you calories and had the metabolism of a hummingbird!!! LOL !!

The headline is misleading. This should be changed or removed.

I agree, good tip for someone starting out but not going to result in a pound per week!

I do a lot more than 10 minutes of walking a day and the weight isn't coming off that quickly. As for the water tip, I think I could stand to trade some of my coffee breaks for a water break.

I agree with you Adoma86 it does take alot of work. I walk 5 miles a day drink more than a gallon of water a day and track my food. Haven't lost one oz! And there was no sound on the video.

Couldn't hear this even with my volume on the computer turned up. I have broaband and it downloaded in bits and pieces.

These are actually two of my favorite tips. I've never been one to want to "drink my calories" as eating them is so much more satisfying, but I respect people who are able to work in healthy smoothie alternatives. When you're greatly overweight, ten minutes is a great goal to set your sights on. Then, once we introduce them to the web site, and interact as a community, we can make even greater positive impact on all our journeys to become healthier people . . . one step at a time. Thanks for sharing!

I could barely hear this, had to turn my volume up to 80%. I would share on FB if it wasn't for that . The exercise videos are loud enough at 50%.

As much as I get the point of this, I really think it's kinda misleading to say 'Drink lots of water and walk for 10 days and you'll lose 1lb'!!! I think we all know it takes a little bit more than that!
Thanks for the video though's always good to have a little reminder of the basics that we need to do to stay on track.

I agree with many who think this is a good tip for those who drink a lot of sodas and juices. I drink water all day (except in the morning, I drink milk if I have cereal for breakfast), so I can't say I'm getting a lot of calories from my drinks.

This is probably a good tip for people who drink a lot of soda and other flavored beverages. I guess not doing that has kept my weight where it is. I'll have to do more if I want to lose more.
