Having had an old hippy aunt that was the first vegetarian I ever met, i cannot help but wonder why you included dairy and eggs - both from animals. She wouldn't eat either one.

*facepalm* Quinoa: a) technically a seed (not grain), b) complete protein (all 9 amino acids), c) gluten free (again, b/c it's not a grain).
If NASA believes quinoa is a candidate crop for space travel, then that's good enough for me.

The Hemp Hearts I get here in Canada have 0.0% of thc so I am never concerned about drug testing. The makers of these hemp seeds also have reduced fat flakes and powders that are higher in protein. Their hemp oil is great for cooking, baking, salads etc because it doesn't break down like other oils. I have been mixing hemp hearts (seeds), flakes and powder with organic rolled oats, home-grown frozen berries and fat free Greek yogurt for years. I'll be 65 in October and healthier now than 40 years ago!

Eggs are not a meatless option. They are chicken. I don't like separating them from meat because eggs become chickens!

I'm vegan, but I've never been worried about proteins. As all vegan doctor will tell you, a big plate of green veggies and at least 1 cup of beans and/or whole grain per meal. People don't need as much protein as they think. You cannot store proteins, what you don't use turns into carbs... What is the point in over abundance?
