I find that I suffer from portion distprtion. Question: is a billiard ball the same size as an ice cream scoop? NO ONE SERVES JUICE IN CUPS SHAPED LIKE HOCKEY PUCKS. I guess I will have to compare a billiard ball to a scoop. I am trying to visualize a pat of butter compared to a throwing die ... only the deck of cards analogy works for me.

This was a huge issue for me. I was eating healthy foods, but in very unhealthy portions. I now have a much better idea of what a healthy portion looks like!

I find that using a scale is better for me that eyeballing it. Especially since I'm not sure what the actual size of a hockey puck, billiard ball or baseball really are. And even then it is really just a guesstimate so for me weighing my food is a better option.
