My husband makes me a smoothie every morning for breakfast. He uses frozen fruit and cranberry juice. It's the best smoothie I have ever tasted.

I used to make smoothies with yogurt, banana, strawberries, oj, and ice. but now i am on la weightloss and my portions are limited. i use strawberries or rasberries, blueberries and pineapple with a light yogurt, ice and maybe a little crystal light rasberry flavor. i also sweeten my fruit a little with splenda or truvia. they are so good!!! one of my favorite breakfasts.

I have been making my own variations of smoothies for a few months, sometimes with protein power, usually frozen/fresh fruit and soy milk (1% milk if I have no soy milk) and sometimes I will add a bit of orange juice for a change. I recently started here on spark and find it hard to figure out the calories in an 8oz glass! Any ideas people?

I have been making smoothies for years with frozen fruit orange juice and yogurt. Sometimes I add in powdered protein as I personally find they don't hold me for more than about 3 hours.

I love smoothies but one word of caution to those with thyroid problems, soy products can interfere with your medicine especially if you consume the soy when you take the medicine. You may consider healthy alternatives.
I love packing my smoothies with lots of fresh stuff.

I make fruit smoothies with soy milk on some days and plain yogurt on others. I also put in a handful of fresh spinich and oats. The spinich combined with blueberries is very good and pretty.

Smoothies are a regular part of my diet. I make pitchers full and sip on them for 2-3 days at a time. They are a great meal replacement, much better than the meal replacement drinks you buy from the store, and when making them at home, you can make them more healthy.

I make my smoothies. ice, water, fresh fruit, and ISOPURE you can buy it at GNC any where. The reason I use this product is because it's high in Protein and all of the vitamins and minerals. and it is very GOOD. IT sounds like I work for these people but I don't. My oldest daughter told me about this product. Happytwins.

I've been drinking smoothies every day now since my sister got me a Magic Bullet for my birthday. Instead of hauling out the blender and going through that ordeal, I can make a single serving in the mug that comes with it--super convenient and easy clean up. With all the good fruit in season now, I'm loving it. I always add a heaping tablespoon of ground flax, oat bran and wheat germ along with soy yogurt and some OJ. It keeps me filled up all morning.
