1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/3 cup bran buds and fresh fruit (small banana or blueberries are favourites). Filling, nutritious, and the protein keeps me going until lunch. Sometimes if my fibre for the day is low, I'll have this before going to bed.

My favorite - banana pancakes (or waffles or mini doughnuts). You mix banana, egg and a little of baking powder and bake in pan/ waffle maker for approx 2-3 min. I get approx 10 pancakes or mini doughnuts or 3 double-waffles from this mixture., it takes about 10 min to prepare. Great breakfast

Guess I am unique. I eat the same breakfast at least 5 days a week for the past 20 years unless I was travelling. I cooked old fashion oatmeal with pre-cooked ground turkey, frozen vegetables, up to 2 eggs, and maybe some tofu around 4 A.M. . Then I added green onion and hot sauce and water after cooking. This would give me enough protein and energy for at least two hours. I would eat a sandwich with ground beef and salad around 7 in the office. I would eat just oat meal if I had to workout in the gym at 4 A.M. usually in the weekends. Otherwise it would be too bloated. I would eat a high protein ground beef sandwich or full breakfast after workout. I have a sensitive stomach and avoid all dairy products, and fruit in the morning, it would interfer with my commute. I love peanut butter and banana but only in the weekend at home.

for the past few months, I fix a breakfast smoothie. The recipe - 6 ounces coconut water, 2 cups spinach and kale, 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, flax seed, chia seed and ground hemp about 20 ounces of filtered water. Great way to start the day!

I make a breakfast sandwich that I am addicted to and it's only 234 calories! I put two egg whites in a small bowl, cover and microwave for 1 minute. put it on top of a 100 calorie English muffin. Add two microwaveable Jimmy Dean turkey sausage patties which are 100 calories. That's it. Doesn't need cheese. But you could do a low fat slice if you needed it. More filling and, in my opinion, better tasting than an Egg McMuffin.

I've always enjoyed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for breakfast with 2% milk and it's a wrap! It reminds me so much of home! I've also included veggies in my breakfast as well. Maybe a veggie quiche and fresh or stewed tomatoes. Who woudl have thunk it!

I make oatmeal with cinnamon and truvia, add 1 Tablespoon of wheat germ, and a dollop of low fat vanilla yogurt on top. I have 1/2 of a banana and either hot green tea or coffee. I t keeps me full until lunch time
