A real crowd pleaser! These savory meatball style ground pork kebabs pack a lot of flavor! Ready to eat in about 30 minutes. Easy to make, kid friendly!
Serve with rice or in a pita with Tzatziki sauce. (Cucumber/Greek yogurt sauce). Double the recipe and cook and freeze for easy meals later in the week.
This is absolutely wonderful and low fat but doesn't taste like it. The lemon flavor is very rich and full and great for fresh blueberries just picked from the bushes. This recipe has been adapted from Kraft but changed to reflect low fat at 80 calories per serving rather then 160.Submitted by KELLI9001
My family loves pasta salad for picnics. Since I haven't been eating pasta as part of my diet, I would just make it and do without. Well, for Labor Day, I realized I didn't have pasta and decided to use some quinoa I had in the pantry. This is tasty, nutty and HEALTHY!! Your family will most likely NOT miss their pasta. Add green and red pepper, chopped onion, small diced broccolli and cauliflower, cucumber and any garden fresh veggie to make even better!Submitted by JOEKNEE
I was trying to make a "cleaner" version of cornbread to go w/ our chili dinner and used what I had on hand. I am sure you could reduce the honey and save some calories that way. Since this was my first experiment, this is how I did it. This was the BEST corn bread I have EVER made!Submitted by ADRIENNE29

A pretty basic low-calorie version of cole-slaw that will not add to your pudge...
I have made this hundreds of times over the years and it is especially a hit at BBQs and picnics.
There are tonnes of recipes on the web for low-calorie coleslaw .. this one is creamier, tasier and yummier than anyone I have found.
I love creamy coleslaw with BBQ and tried every kind without mayo but kept coming missing the creaminess. This one satisfies my cravings! I shredd the cabbage myself and find it tastes so much fresher than buying the pre-shredded bagged variety. Try it and see.Submitted by FITNESSFOODIE
