Submitted by THECITYMOUSEA fail-safe pudding, that's straight forward to make - and doesn't involve rolling out pastry. The fruit just gets on with the work as it bakes, creating a wonderful soft almond and bistered fruit filling, oozing nectarlike juice.
Submitted by KES304This cake is easy to make, and although appears to be sweet because of the amount of sugar and honey involved, it is not an over-the-top taste.

This is one of THE BEST rice pudding recipes I've ever made. It's worth a try if you've never had this kind of pudding before. And don't be afraid of adding the egg! Tempering the egg ensures that you do not end up with bits and pieces of scrambled egg in your pudding!
I skimmed the recipe to half of the typical batch (hence using half the egg). Instead of cream I used milk, light butter substitute. I also added about 1/2 tsp of cinnamon to the mixture and lightly sprinkled nutmeg over the top when placed in a bowl.
Perfect for cold weather days!!
Have brownie mix but want to cut the fat and calories? Replace the oil for unsweetened applesauce, and the egg for a smashed banana. Trust me, it will taste great!

My dad's recipe. Both of my parents knew how to cook!
I used real, unsalted butter, so their fatty. Obviously, this can be adjusted to be a little healthier, but the cookies won't be as soft or plump.
