Venetian seafood risotto a la NY Times
This is my own version of Spark People's "Polish Kraut 'n Apples" recipe.
I got this recipe off of Allrecipes.com and it was a huge success! The only problem was how "bad" it is. This time I have cut the recipe in half and will make a shorter layered cake (originally calls for 2 cakes made into four layers, I will make one cake into 2 layers)
I have read that indulging in a small bit of the real thing is much more satisfying that lots of the "fake" version. (this is still almost 350 calories for 1/12 of the cake_

I love cabbage rolls, but I've created this recipe and it far surpasses any others I've ever had. With just a hint of sweetness, these are sure to make you want seconds. To add a bit more flavor, I sometimes add a can or two of diced tomatoes, but that isn't included in the nutritional information.
This is a favorite Polish dish in our house. I've taken out most of the fat and substituted Splenda for sugar to bring the calories down. When we have bacon on hand, we sprinkle a few crispy bits on top of each serving along with some sour cream and parsley. The color of this soup is gorgeous, and the sweet and sour flavor is delicious.
Easy all-day crock pot recipe - creamy scalloped potatoes and tender, juicy pork chops.
This is a fairly rich dish, but we love it for Easter or Summer picnics. Good fats are substituted for mayo.
I get raves every time I serve it! This makes a large bowl, enough to serve a group!!
You can cut this recipe down to serve a smaller family. It's almost impossible to mess this up - just taste as you go and adjust the seasonings.
