This is a slight adaptation to a recipe from KeyIngredient.com (http://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/1215
8060/caramelized-banana-sandwich/). I used Fiber One Whole Wheat bread, which has more fiber, but more calories than other w.w. breads. Instead of grilling the sandwich, I spread the honey/butter mixture onto one side of each piece of bread, then toasted the bread as the bananas were cooking.
This is a super simple and delicious bread. Easy for beginners! No bread machine required.
