A real crowd pleaser! These savory meatball style ground pork kebabs pack a lot of flavor! Ready to eat in about 30 minutes. Easy to make, kid friendly!
Serve with rice or in a pita with Tzatziki sauce. (Cucumber/Greek yogurt sauce). Double the recipe and cook and freeze for easy meals later in the week.
A traditional French dish, perfect for those who need to put dinner in the oven and leave it be until it is ready!
Works well with peppers, courgettes (zucchinis), aubergines (eggplants) instead of tomatoes...and a good way to use up leftover meat instead of mince (if doing so, then reduce cooking time to only 20 min!)
Wonderful--will make you want to lick the plate! I eat it with plenty of fall veggies (or butternut squash soup--yum!) and a slice of whole wheat bread.
This is my adaptation of a recipe a Rwandan family taught me. They used chunks of stewed beef instead of venison, but venison is what I had in my freezer; hence the swap. :) It's delicious, and if the idea of adding peanut butter weirds you out, no worries. It adds creaminess to the dish, but you don't taste it and think, "Tastes like PB&venison." :) It is not eaten from a bowl like soup; rather, it is ladled over rice and eaten with a spoon.Submitted by TRAILHAPPY
