Adapted from Rebecca Rather's recipe, these are heady with cinnamon and good vanilla and deliciously tender with the buttermilk. The oats give these cakes a great texture without being overwhelming. Any garnish works well with this cake, I used a plain buttercream and swirled it on up for effect!Submitted by JO_JO_BA
Ganache with a Tex-mex flair. This isn't a light recipe, but sometimes you simply have to indulge that chocolate craving. This chocolate confection is fantastic with graham crackers, cookies, ice cream, dipping fruit, as a cake frosting or just straight off the spoon.Submitted by DAWNNER

I was the Chinese Take-Out Queen! I knew everything on the menu and had my favorite restaurant on speed dial. I was such a regular they knew what I was going to order before I even opened my mouth (they had caller ID). Now that I am a member of Spark People, I no longer patron many of my favorite haunts (pun intended); however, I just can't see living life without some of my favorite flavors. My local restaurant had THE BEST Fried Ice Cream. It was Crunchy, Creamy, Cinnamony Sweet Bliss! I have left off the Rich Chocolate Syrup, Real Whipped Cream, and the Maraschino Cherry, but the taste and texture are very close to the real thing. The texture is very important to fooling my mouth into thinking this is one of "our" favorite treats even though it is a fraction of the calories @ 165.5 and only 4.5g of fat. I'm a sweet addict so I'm always looking for ways to make my favorite treats fit within my nutritional goals. I hope you find this recipe fills your mouth with the same Fried Ice Cream textures and flavors as the real thing and if you've never had Fried Ice Cream...I hope you find this to be a new favorite dessert!Submitted by POOKIEBUG
The most requested fruit salad you'll ever make. I made 3x the portion for a party, the entire bowl (over 30 servings) was completely emptied in less than 10 min. Once served, people wouldn't leave until they emptied the cup for 2nd serving.
Even the best Momma Chefs kept asking me for recipe.
Gluten-Free and absolutely heavenly.
Works great for fixing fruit that is slightly not as ripe as desired.
