Modified recipe after watching Ellie Krieger video. It did not give measurement for the Ricotta. I used lower fat ingredients. She recommended tomato sauce that did not have more than 500 mg sodium per serving and included olive oil in ingredients. I chose the brand listed as I use homemade sauce.Submitted by 60SIXTY
My Uncle made a version of this with Spam while we stayed with him in California on vacation, so I tried to replicate it at home. It's actually better with Spam! I'll do that next time, but this was pretty good and the kids gobbled this up as well!Submitted by RUMBAMEL
My daughter's school had a Fall Fest and needed some chili. I had some sausage and made this recipe. Unfortunately, this delicious recipe got dumped in with all the other chilis and served to the masses :( Oh well, at least I discovered a new recipe!Submitted by RUMBAMEL
THE SUPREME SLIMMER....i actually lose weight when i eat this...Ok, I must share this recipe!!! I have really been trying to change my diet lately & pizza has always been my biggest temptation! So, I had to figure a way to make it calorie smart....and I found it.....it's called FLATOUT BREAD....it's the GREATEST!! You can get it in the deli section at most grocery stores or you can order it and keep it in the freezer…..it lasts forever!! http://flatoutbread.com the light original brand only has 90 calories per slice.
This whole pizza has only 345 calories….you could actually have 2 if you were really hungry and still be in your caloric range for a meal!!
